Job Title: HostLink Restaurant Group, the parent company of Gianna, is seeking a skilled and friendly host to join their team. As a host, you will be the first point of contact for guests and will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.Responsibilities:

• Greet guests upon arrival and bid farewell when they leave.
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand and front door area.
• Answer phone calls and take reservations.
• Perform administrative tasks as assigned by the manager.
• Seat guests efficiently and effectively.
• Communicate with guests regarding delays and wait times.
• Ensure menus and wine lists are clean and presentable.
• Presents menus and provides quality assurance.
• Provides reservation counts and informs the manager of special requests.
• Engages management to resolve guest issues.
• Informs servers and managers of special requests and celebrations.
• Directs guests to their tables.
• Checks bathrooms for cleanliness and maintains general tidiness.Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in a high-volume host or restaurant environment.
  • Ability to work in a standing and walking position for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate quick thinking and adaptability.
  • Exceptional work ethic, strong sense of hospitality, and a collaborative attitude.
