About the RoleAt P--che Seafood Grill, we are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Host to join our team. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. Your role will be to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that every guest feels valued and cared for.Key Responsibilities

• Greet all guests entering the restaurant and thank them for choosing P--che Seafood Grill.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand and front door area, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for our guests.
• Take reservations and answer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
• Perform various administrative tasks, such as mailing and filing, as assigned by the Manager on duty.
• Ensure that all menus and wine lists are clean, presentable, and easily accessible for our guests.
• Presents menus and provides a quality assurance, enhancing the overall dining experience.
• Provide reservation counts and inform the Manager on duty of any special requests or concerns.
• Engage management in addressing any guest issues or complaints.
• Notify servers and the Manager of special requests or special occasions, such as birthdays or anniversaries.
• Direct guests to their tables at a comfortable pace, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
• Regularly check the bathrooms for cleanliness and restock paper goods and empty trash cans as needed.
• Adhere to grooming and dress code standards, representing P--che Seafood Grill in a professional and positive manner.Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of host and/or restaurant experience in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to work in an organized and professional manner.
• Ability to work in a standing/walking position for long periods of time.
• Ability to demonstrate quick thinking and adaptability in a constantly changing environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess an exceptional work ethic, strong sense of hospitality, and a collaborative attitude.
