Position Details:
--- Title: Technician 2
--- Location: Baton Rouge, LA
--- Compensation: $28 - $40 per hour
o Lower end for 3-5 years of experience
o Higher end for 10+ years of experience

Position Description:
The company seeks experienced Technicians with a background in diesel equipment, hydraulics, LP/forklifts, and maintenance experience in petrochemical plant settings. This position is essential in maintaining the high performance and reliability of company equipment, providing customer service, and conducting predictive and corrective maintenance. This role is customer-facing and represents the company's values, requiring strong communication and professionalism. Candidates must provide their own common hand tools, with an additional tool bonus available.

Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Maintenance and Repair:
--- Diagnose and repair a range of industrial equipment, including diesel engines, LP forklifts, and hydraulic systems.
--- Perform predictive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment safety and reliability.
--- Conduct routine inspections and identify potential problems before they impact equipment functionality.
Customer Interaction:
--- Serve as a customer-facing representative, delivering high-quality service with clear communication.
--- Document maintenance activities accurately and maintain a supply of necessary parts and tools.
Compliance and Safety:
--- Adhere to all OSHA, DOT, and company-specific safety guidelines.
--- Keep the company vehicle in safe, clean condition and ensure tool accountability.

Qualifications:
--- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; trade or technical school preferred.
--- Experience: Minimum 3 years in industrial or diesel equipment repair, with a focus on hydraulics and predictive maintenance.
--- Skills: Excellent mechanical aptitude, communication skills, and a commitment to customer service.
--- Additional Requirements: Clean driving record, ability to pass background checks, and personal hand tools (with a sign-on tool bonus available).
